What I have worked out so far:
    Movement 1480 - 17 jewel
    Serial 33****** - 1971
166098: male - self winding centre second - water resistant calendar
Watch came in original box, with original strap and the strap shown in image.
Has inscription engraved on the back stating service at a company from 1947-1972.

First, does it look to be authentic?
Second, what is it roughly worth? (I'm not selling, just want to know how I did haha)
Also, where else could I try for more information about this range of watch?

    Thanks!

It's authentic, though I think the dial may have been repainted at some point, I might be wrong and if I am I'm sure someone will point it out ;)
As for value I would guesstimate about US$600

I just bought one of the exact same watch for 300 on flea-bay and paid 500 to have it serviced. Which i would highly reccomend before you wear it everyday/all the time since wear on these delicate parts could be costly.

Is it another of those where there is tritium on the dial and hands but no T next to Swiss made?

My first omega was a vintage (pie pan Connie). You've been bitten. Be careful :) and wear it in good health.

Mine has tritium on the dial 12 marker and on the hands, no t-Swiss-t on the dial. And it's original from what our fine gentlemen on here say.

My omega speedmaster mkii of the same year has tritium and definitely has t-Swiss-t on the dial
