Omega World War II Gentleman's Solid Gold 18k Vintage Dress Watch-Works Well
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-World...851?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item463391c0f3Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
    Opening bid is $17,500

    Very special.

The irony that the seller seems to sell vintage cameras should not be overlooked. Six (or twelve, depending on whether you put your month first or second) month old photos, and movement picture out of a book I think.

Yes, Just saw that. You would think that for an asking price of >17,000$ he would have bothered to take decent pictures......

Excuse the quality of pics, taken with his worst vintage camera/lens...

I'm concerned he's having a stroke actually. Or had one six months ago.

I don't understand sellers like this. Don't make the effort to see what their item is worth. Make no effort listing it for sale. I guess, as they say, you can't argue with crazy.

I find it ironic that he watermarks his photos. As if anyone would want to use them!

Anyway, I've sent him an email to ask for better pics. Maybe there IS a $17000 watch hiding in those photos after all... ::stirthepot:: A very special watch that distorts space and time, making it inordinately difficult to photograph, perhaps? Like the one in "The Girl, The Gold Watch, and Everything"?

Maybe owned by Winston Churchill? Can't think of many other reasons to ask that price

There's a blast from the past, I enjoyed reading that as a 16 year old.

I think you guys are being too harsh on the seller. Clearly he only has a milk bottle available to take photos with. In the circumstances I think he's done quite well, I can actually make out that it is a watch.

Jeez, this watch might be a bargain at that price. It could contain a world war II treasure map.......That's why he had to distort the picture so only the buyer could get the clear map.

I liked the movie, but then again I was biased as I had a crush on Pam Dawber then...
