I got my Omega Memomatic back from my watchmaker 7 days ago and did a precise time set when I got home. The watch is advancing 2.5 seconds per day. I would think this is within factory specs. Where would I check? 2017-03-18 003.JPG

Sounds pretty good to me, but I have no idea what factory specs would be for daily rate, positional variation, etc. I'd let it settle in and be plenty happy about those numbers if it keeps up!

Considering that beats COSC and that's not a chronometer rated watch, your within spec.

Spec for average daily rate is from -1 to +16 seconds per day for the Cal. 980.
