Well there is as much potential nuance and variation in the value of a movement as the whole watch - except 90% of buyers dont appreciate it, let alone look at it, and of the remaining 10% who do look, probably 1% will understand.

fine clean movement (which this is not) could be worth a lot.
To answer the question, the value is derived from both the condition of the movement, and what the extract says. This particular watch the movement would change hands at $3,000 to $4,000 between knowledgeable people - a willing buyer and a willing seller.
At auction if there is no "Willing buyer" just opportunist collectors like me who will buy anything cheap enough, then It will bid to around $2500 to $3250.
If the extract is for a 145012 then its less, and if the extract is not for a speedmaster, or unobtainable, then its less again.
As a rule of thumb, the bottom value for a 321 movement that is complete, not damaged and able to be serviced to be functional, is $2000.
I have seen 321's missing parts sell on ebay for $1500+ and that was before we could check extracts in 4 days.
Now these figures would be influenced by numbers offered, and if everyone dumped 321's on to ebay tomorrow I think the demand would choke and prices stall.
