There might well be some Billy Bulger gum there, but I sincerely doubt you鈥檇 find any traces of Whitey on a library chair.馃槈

That's another story. According to city papers my house dates from 1899. I have been here for over 7 years and always thought it was correct. Well, recently I found a terrific site of online historical maps of Boston with detailed atlases of streets and properties. Curiosity got me so I looked at various old maps and realize the house is shown in the 1899, 1884 and 1874 maps! Since the owner's name is also shown on the maps for each property, I Googled the name and address and found an entry in a city registry of 1870. So the house is actually several decades older than I originally thought.
Picture would be awesome.
