So I'm really really excited, about a year ago I bought my dream watch from the sale section here, a arrowhead connie stainless with wg furniture, pie pan. Plus I already had the rare sliding lock bor bracelet that is correct for it just no endlinks, plus the crystal and crown weren't correct, it came with a replacement cloverleaf. So anyway, I've just been trying to tell myself it's ok and nothing wrong with using replacement parts, so I ordered the endlinks, crystal, and crown from Otto frie, but you guys know.. It irks you.. So finally after what felt like a lifetime of following leads only to be disappointed and having to keep telling myself it's ok.. In one week, both items turned up! I guess when it rains it pours because I just finished fitting the correct flat footed deoctagonal crown and no.11 endlinks!! The crystal is still a newer one but I'm ok with that, but I just can't get over the satisfaction knowing finally.. After all this time, After three different connies chasing this one, I have my dream watch. P.S. newbies.. (kind of a newbie myself but ohwell) Make sure all parts are original BEFORE you purchase a watch.. Or be prepared to wait!! And if the perfect watch comes along.. Buy it! Don't chicken out! You will regret it!
Requisite picture with new stuff= Big big thank you to nomercy for the endlinks!! Your truly a blessing!
patient...You want to talk patience you know how hard it is to find an NOS Rolex 16600 T<25 Dial..I'm about to cry!
Do you mind posting multiple pix of your bracelet/clasp/endlinks? Great looking pair together, no doubt.
Sure no problem.. I'll take some pics tomorrow in the light. @thrasher.. I can't afford a rolex so I differently don't know what that feels like.. But just remember it's out there somewhere just waiting for you, keep the faith!
It doesn't have one, it was made my jb champion for the USA market, omega has a variation as well that is the same but the omega sign below the button instead of through it. I'm not sure of the number for that one, but they were the precursor to the regular bor bracelet and were never made in mass quantities like the regular bor. Mine was made in '55, the connie is from '56.
Where is the date of manufacture stamped(DOM)? Mine also has the Omega symbol through the button, but no DOM. It came with a cal 500 Seamaster dating to 1955-57 before the Seamonster was seen on the back. Sorry to HiJack
