Bought this piece of ebay this week. Original box and Papers from year 2006.
Not sure if this watch was imported from China or Japan according to the Stamp on Warranty Card. can someone tell?
I checked with Omega, they confirmed this Serial Number is genuine.
The seller is "Prestige Watches" from UK, was very friendly and i received the watch really quick, 2 days after purchase. imressive how fast UPS delivers.
i guess i paid too much for this one, it cost total £1.814 including shipping, but somehow i really wanted one, so i went for it anyways.

On the outside the watch looks good, however i am not sure if it was already refinished or not? Hard to say with my untrained eye.

The watch is running currently ~ -15 sec per day. It runs already for ~44 hours on power reserve, still running.
Service history is unknown.. not sure if i should still bring it straight for service though, and check the inside parts.

i wore it for a couple of days and must say, i am amazed how comfortable it sits on the wrist!
and in real live it looks way better than on photos.

Big congratulations. You sound happy with it and you should be! I have a soft spot for this reference. I like the big triangle dial and they were not in production for a huge amount of time. Enjoy and wear in the best of health.

well i find it fairly easy to operate if you press it down with your fingers, however it leaves fingerprints on the glass. but i am not using it that often anyway.

    thanks,
yes i just begin to learn, and it seems its a long way to go :)

I just took my 2254.50 to a houseboat bachelor party followed by a week at a cabin. Swimming, beach football and general shenanigans were no match for this watch, especially on a NATO (Speedy-style bracelet is nice but heavy).

    Modern classic - nice pickup.

I am a broken record about this watch but I love love love it. Best modern iteration of the Seamaster. Should be the face of the line.

Congrats! Wear it in good health!

I think I looked at this very watch too. I believe that the price is just fine; looking at sales fora and eBay, etc there is a lot of private sellers asking more. Great watch, enjoy it

Prices on this model have risen significantly in the last 18 months. I don't think your price was a million miles away.

In the last six months or so in the sales form I half a dozen examples of been sold from 1800 to 2200 USD. European Watch sold one recently for around 2300 I believe. So you’re on the high side that range but from a dealer that seems like a perfectly reasonable cost.

I think you did fine and the prices on these are definitely crept up over the last few years. Hopefully that will continue :)

Yes it wasnt easy finding one in decent condition at around 2000€. In Austria there are only 2 pieces available at this price, either no papers or no bracelet and in a poor shape. But those dont cell for months. Still it is incredible what some people try to charge for those.
