Congrats and enjoy. I believe they have end links to add the adjustable clasp as well if you need a perfect with change in seasons.

Thanks! It's actually the black dial (with black-grayed-out bezel, which makes for a superb contrast!).

Congrats! Great wrist and lume shots!

BTW I have noticed increased love for the SMP on the internet on many forums...IMO after the Speedmaster, the SMP is second most "iconic" watch in the Omega range, and excellent value for money.

Congrats and enjoy, I'm rather new myself. I got my black SMP in March and blue last month... wasn't planning on that one, but Omega's major vault series price drop was too good to pass up. However; those are it for me...my alpha & omega so to speak. If you haven't already, make sure you add that to your jewelry schedule on your home owners insurance policy...that will cover it for every manner of loss to include growing legs and walking off of it's own accord, better known as mysterious disappearance.

I was also torn between the Speedmaster and the Seamaster for some time.
That was until I realized that the Speedmaster has a small seconds-hand window (the big hand is reserved for the chronograph). And as I don't really have any use for the chronograph and the price for the SMP seemed right, I went with that insted.
Cheers!

That's actually a good idea, to include the watch in my insurance policy. I'll remember that when time comes.
Cheers!
