Hi everyone! Sorry for coming here and post these pictures in such an ostentatious manner, but you're kind of my "Omega family" in a way... Just got my first new Omega today! (Seamaster 300M, ref. 212.30.41.20.01.003). Still shaking for having spent the equivalent of four months pay on a watch (I'm not that rich...), but let me tell you: it is a thing of beauty! Amazing how something that was already so beautiful online (picts and vids) can look even better in real life. The depth this dial has, the perfect and comfortable bracelet, the perfect size (41mm) for my wrist, the cool 120 click bezel, the way if reflects light, the unreal lume, wow! Just wow! It oozes quality and I can now appreciate why people fall in love (in a matter of speaking) for their Omega's. My first Omega purchased with my own money. Couldn't be happier. Now... time to go home and tell my girlfriend about it... wish me luck!
Congratulations! It looks great in the wrist shot. It isn't a model I have really considered before but I can see why it is so popular! Enjoy it and good luck confessing to the girlfriend!
Congratulations. The joy you get from looking at it will soon justify the cost. It probably won't be long before you start thinking about your next one.
VERRY Nice. My first, and only so far is late 90's SM 300M as well. love the titanium. You made great choice. Enjoy.
Nice! I love this new crop of Seamasters and yours is the top of the heap. The bracelet is one of the most comfortable metal ones anywhere, and also one of the best looking. Congrats!
Congratulations on one very fine looking watch! The visual depth of the dial in your first pic looks amazing. Enjoy wearing that beauty!!
Thanks for the "tap on the back", everyone! I appreciate it. I mean, seriously, how tacky would it be to just show up at the café with my sleeves rolled up in the vague chance that another watch enthusiast would spot it? Here I feel a bit more in my element. So thanks. By the way, I'm happy to report my girlfriend happily accepted the new family member ("Wow! Looks so clean and nice! That really glows in the dark! Now we need to get curtains for your watch too!"). It's a wonder what the right box of chocolates can do for you! Cheers, everyone! Have a great week.
A little late to the party, but congratulations! I got mine my 2220.80 last week. It feels so great on the wrist.
Congratulations, indeed. I have this watch with the blue dial -- beautiful, reasonably priced watch that is very flexible in terms of wearability. I wore it today with a sportcoat, tie, and dress slacks.
Congrats on your new purchase. Stunning and the perfect size. I'm glad you didn't finance it. It's much more rewarding.
