Hi all!

For sale today I have a Vintage Omega Tresor Solid 18k Rose Gold, c. 1954. Quadruple signed! (Dial, case, crystal, movement) I acquired this recently, however a grail (vintage IWC) has turned out that I couldn't turn down, so need to clear funds!

It measures 36mm across (Jumbo for this era) and wears quite large for it's size, as you can see on my 6.6 inch wrists below. Dial and case are all original, the dial is un-restored to the best of my knowledge, and is in excellent condition - the case has been polished at some point in it's recent history but retains it's vintage charm. The manual wind movement has been serviced and runs brilliantly to within +20 secs per day (if not lower, has gone +5 some days) when properly wound.

For this excellent example I'm looking to offer a fair price, asking for a firm $1250 USD including tracked shipping to Australia and PayPal fees. Shipping to EU, CONUS, and Asia please add $25. No returns unless information misrepresented.

Details:

- Watch only, with after market strap

- Original signed dial, movement, crown, crystal and caseback. The crystal and case have been polished.

- 36mm wide, 8mm thick, 44mm in length lug to lug, 18mm lug width

- Manual wind 17 jewel, cal 266 movement, serial number 14xxxxxx dates to 1954. serviced and cleaned recently

- Caseback has correct 18k 0.750 swiss gold hallmarks. gold hallmark is also on the lower left lug.

- Dial shows light signs of age but remains in excellent original condition for it's age. signed swiss made below 6 o'clock. Has outstanding condition rose gold dauphine hands and applied rose gold indices and numerals at the hours.

I've made multiple sales and purchases this year on Omegaforums and eBay (search for user hrobrobi) so buy with confidence!

all details have been described to the best of my knowledge and with reference to a trusted dealer that I bought it off, but please let me know if you feel any of the information above is incorrect!

Thanks for looking!

I know it's off-topic. And please excuse this transgression...

But: I absolutely love vintage IWC....so please, tell me. what did you score?!

Also: lovely watch above, I'm not into gold cases but am actually mulling it over. I love the dial and the case size. GLWS!

And - yeah its a beautiful watch! The 36mm oversized case really wears large and very modern for it's 50's styling. the small seconds is also quite large and has great presence, as do the shield-shaped indices on the hours 😀

I'm just planning on slowly decreasing the listing price until it sells, so PM me if you're interested and maybe we can work something out!

A photo below of the watch right now on my wrist

Nice Omega! What is the lug to lug size in mm? (Refering to how long across wrist, 48mm on example below):

Thanks

Hey! I wrote ~42mm in the listing above, but having just measure it again just then, actually it's 44mm, so I'll edit that.

haha yeah.... they sure are. seems like social media is really pushing interest, particularly in vintage watches! I really wanted to get a rolex GMT 16710 (90's/00's version) but the prices are insane. like $7k for a set with box and papers :'(

Yes, can relate to that! My 16610 was "just" $2436 when I purchased it new back on 1995 (a lot back then), could sell it today for 2x easily (not happening! [emoji1303])
