With it comes this letter. Translate only recognises half but still very interesting

Basically the document says that there were 380 watches delivered to PAF and that they benefit from a 2-year warranty (rather than one as provided by default by Omega). The letter suggests watch holders to keep the warranty papers. Warranty details would have been in the appendix.

Edit: the paper showing that extension of warranty is photo 20.

Crazy watch.

That has to be the nicest 2998 I have ever seen for sale

Interesting sales system - 10% fee, watch in possession of auctioneer, good photos.

seems like a strong competition for other houses.

10% to the buyer and a flat $500 seller's fee. I agree it's a good model.

I love LoupeThis - but for Omega's seems a bit risky, I don't pay too much attention, but it always seemed below market to me results-wise

And also lots of good pictures.

It’s so annoying when most auction houses include a single and usually poor picture. Maybe that’s best for getting underrated watches but honestly… reaching out, asking for pics, and then getting three out-of-focus pics via WhatsApp is really not efficient.

With recent lens improvements think how hard it must be to take those out of focus pictures to avoid responsibility on potential issues lol

I think exceptional pieces do well

Run of the mill watches tend to sell at 'market' or just under.
