There is no accent on the E unlinke on the original vintage bezels from Omega, the design is not exactly reproducing the originals.

Still I believe it’s worth to share and warn the community about these new fakes. Be careful and don’t hesitate to report the listing to eBay !

 

At least he state "Custom made after market"

He is certainly not trying to fool someone, at least.

 

How is something clearly labelled "Custom Made After Market" and "Custom Made NEW" a fake? There is no claim that this is an original Omega part or product and as far as I can see, no intention to deceive. Omega might have a right to go after him for infringement of a copyright design, but that's a different kettle of fish from outright fakery.

 

I agree and think that this bezel looks far better than the regular later one OMEGA offered.

 

It will become fake as soon as sold on a watch without disclosure increasing its value. I am warning and hoping nobody will fall in the trap.

Wish Omega would start to make these instead of the fakers. At least that way it would be legit, albeit modern.

I don't know. But if there is money to made, they have been seen to jump at the opportunity. Like all the 'new' old watches...

 

We are all over the tolerance map here on OF what it comes to aftermarket bezels, new old watches and homage designs. (Seems to depend on who’s doin em) This I have noted. It would be nice if Omega could do DON and SM bezels.
