Dear Rolexistas,
am I right in assuming that this is a fake? I don't have extensive expertise on vintage Tudor or Rolex, but the first three things that I noticed were a "T Swiss < 25" on the dial, quite small hour dots and no date in the caseback. Any insights appreciated.

If they could do such a good job of faking a Todor Submariner, why would they not have faked a Rolex Sumbariner. This is not an answer as to whether it is fake or genuine, just another question.

Bezel insert and dial are sure yucky (to put it succinctly)...Auction has since been removed, so I have only the above pic to go by.

One of the first watches I bought as a very green newbie was a fake Tudor 34 mm dress watch. Why someone bothered to fake a Tudor is beyond me, but it has happened.

Because perhaps it would be easy to adopt existing Rolex counterfeit materials?
Certainly the submariner cased watches would be easy - I know even less about dress models but if there is a Rolex version, I bet there is a tutor counterfeit too.

(Currently I write from the land of counterfeiters - fakes all around)

Meanwhile I read a bit and are quite shocked about the horrendous number of fakes, of more than good fakes..
I have another picture from the Ebay Ad with inner caseback, movement, case. Seller claims case was never polished which might be true, who needs to Polish a brand new case..
Needless to say that he didn't reply to my mail pointing out this one might have authenticity issues.

As vintage Tudor subs are becoming sought after over the last few years, there are more fake Tudor snowflake/sub appearing on eBay.

That's a fake 7928. Besides the repainted dial and bezel insert, this watch also has wrong movement, wrong case markings, too thick crown guards, etc.

Since we are talking tudors, what do you think of this one?

It would be nice to have a couple of shots of the dial that are not straight on...but that being said the print on the dial looks like the real deal as far as I can tell from the photo. The lume on the dial looks a little funky, but some of the 7928s are known to have weird aging of the lume. Would like to see movement, but nothing about the dial screams fake. Fat font bezel looks like the real deal as well.

He has added a few more pics of the case serial engraving and back but no movement pic.

Hi,
The dial it's ok
the insert must be a "long five"

Kissing 4.
Dial, insert fine. Trouble opening link now, for some reason, so can't see rest.

Off the bat, besides incorrect t-swiss marking, dial font too boxy/big. At best, awful repaint job.
