Fonts on the dial don't look right.

I think there’s a reason the eBay listing doesn’t mention the reference number.

I've asked for photos of serial number and cleat photo of case back and Omega stamps inside the bracelet. Vendor taking it to a jeweller to remove the back for a photo. We'll see.

Now that I'm looking at it on a big screen.

Look at the bezel and lug shape, the fonts on the dial, the Omega logo on the dial, the hippocampus, the crown shape, the inside of the clasp, the outside of the clasp.

The whole thing is a screaming pile of fake.

Thank you, it's for this level of knowledge that I come asking questions.
What caused me to have doubts? The crown was my first concern followed by the off-centre logo on the outside of the clasp. The case profile on the non-crown side looks like a well-known and actually enjoyable microbrand and doesn't have the sculpting and detail that I see on my AT. The case back similarly looked very plain. TBH I don't know enough about dial fonts but the bezel or insert looks wrong against every photo of this model of Omega which google can show me and looks like I'd expect to find on a Speedmaster Reduced.

Price? Well price doesn't mean FAKE, it can mean other things. Likewise lack of box and papers.

I'll report back on what/if the vendor comes back with having "taken it to a jeweller this afternoon" to get the back off and whether he responds to my request for better photos but seeing as how no-one here is speaking in its favour I need to learn and move on.

Low-end fake. One-pusher clasp. Crown that sticks out by a mile. Case that isn't cut correctly with no serial number. Omega logo on the caseback looks like a "O|". Tachymetere without the accent over the E on the bezel. Bad fonts on everything. Not a single thing is correct on this piece of trash.

If this isn't blatantly obvious, consider buying from ADs only because you're on the road to getting scammed.

Well maybe if I didn't seek the opinions of those who know. I'm surprised you didn't mention the uneven spacing of letters on the case back. Maybe you'd seen enough eh? Thanks. I really cant wait for the back-off photos but I'm not holding my breath.....

Is that a hippocampus on the case back or a Rorschach test? Im going with fake on this one.

They did a good job of centering the Omega logo on the clasp. Jeeesus.
