Hi, recently i found a pretty uncommon Seamaster Chronometer 168.022 Cal.564 "sparkle" dial on Indonesian OLX (an online listing site for used items).

It is offered for 1,500,000 IDR, which equals to only 105 USD, supsicious right?
The seller said that he obtained it from his uncle. From the way he speaks about watches and make other watches listings (No descriptions, even reference number, mov't, size, material, etc. Like this 175 USD gold, arabic-stick markers, date, dog leg, pie-pan Constellation), I assume he is not that educated/informed about watches, let alone Omega models.

I am considering to buy it as my first swiss luxury vintage watch (because i don't consider my Titoni Space Star 009 is a luxury ;)). Had asked the seller to keep it for me (with some charges) and put it down from the listing for a while, so I can secure the watch if it is proven to be genuine. But I promised that today, I will decide whether I will buy it or not.

Anyway, from the photos, it's likely to be genuine tho!

So, what do you guys think? I need your help asap!!

I’m no expert but I would jump all over that for $150. Even if it turns out to be a redial (which I doubt) the movement is worth severa times fhat.

Sounds like a great buy, whether you will actually receive the watch is another question.

Okay guys, thank you. I dont wan't to be stupid though, so I will ask the seller for videos and some photos with uncommon angles. I am afraid that this is a fake listing (Still suspicious). As i found out with futher investigation, I can found photos of other watches he sells online from different instagram accounts. I am now 80% believe it's a scam (dissapointed ), let's see whether the seller can pass the test or not ;).

Ask him to set the hour and minute of a time of your choosing. That's how Chrono24 verifies.

Yeah, I think i will not receive it, because now i think i will not buy it ;)

Anyway, you guys can inspect the photos he uses to sell the Constellation (from the link given on my original post). It seems like he forgot to erase/crop the watermark, ouch!

Yeah, I just checked Visualstrap's website, and there is the Connie. I think you should make him jump the hurdles just for fun....play with this dude a little. This is one of those so too good to be true that it clearly isn't.

Let's shock him. Can't think of how this man could found photos of this rare Omega to deceive someone.

I think the seller fails to pass the test. Soo...case closed
It is a real watch, the seller is the fake one.

Thank you guys for your help! So dissapointed though. I didn't intend to give you guys a show or something, it was just me bring reckless. I will consider buying another used Omega despite its mismatch hands in the future.
