Hi everyone,

Quite new to the universal geneve watches and came across this Microtor watch.
Is this a legitimate watch, a frankenstein or a clever fake?

The movement seems real enough but the polished case and any lack of a reference number apart from the movement makes me wonder what this is..

TIA!

Genuine UG but horribly refinished dial.

Pass at any price more than $100.

Seeing a lot of UG's with this kind of top notch redial job from India and Vietnam on ebay.

Microtor watches can be a bit tricky to pin down. I had a similar experience with a Rolex replica I bought online. It looked great and had a solid feel, even though it wasn’t an original. Sometimes, pieces like this can be high-quality with some custom touches. If the movement seems real and the case is polished, it might just be a well-done watch with a unique twist. It’s always a good idea to have a pro take a look if you’re unsure!
