·Probably not a native English speaker, so maybe just tone it down a bit and try being less hostile.
Yeah, I am not a English speaker and always thought typing English isn’t my strong suit until yesterday, apart from the “buddy” part of course, it’s kind of funny though,how come a such friendly word means otherwise around here still puzzles me.
Anyway, appreciate you guys work and keeps this place running as what it is.

·Buddy is certainly a friendly term.
However, tone matters. As in all languages. If I am arguing with someone and I call them "buddy" it's meant to be dismissive, passive aggressive.

On the other hand,it seems very much depends on how the other part take it.
Language is a funny two way street as well,I guess.
Most of our members here are based in the US and UK. Me and @dsio (Ash) are the site owners and based in Australia. We'd probably say "mate"... but not too often 😀

·Aus is a great place to live. Ash (as in Ashley, male) is from Brisbane, I'm from the Gold Coast which is about an hour south of Brisbane.
And Ipswich! the stylish 100 year old buildings on the hills,and a small town called “Nimban” my spelling here is definitely wrong,that town is something else, you know that. 😉
Each of these places is as unique and refreshing to live. Would love to be there again someday!
I am in Beijing, guess there’s not too much left here for me to tell.😊
