What stands out that makes you think it's a fake? I don't follow these, so I'm not sure what to look for. I did do some searching and the movement appears to match the caliber 29.5 T2. The crown does looks to be wrong.

Edit: After looking here, https://omegaforums.net/threads/please-comment.22896/#post-250379, it appears this watch dial has been redone unless the watches from the late 30's had a different dial.

I'd imagine that people would pass on the watch just because of the redone dial...

Besides the dial being redone the seller had
Well mainly because when i asked to see a pic of both sides of the case back he refused and said that the pics he had up were sufficient. I believe the case backs on these officers had swedish on them, or at least the ones I have seen before.

That certainly sounds suspect. A genuine seller will be happy to supply additional photos.

The case looks like an "ordinary", flat-bezel, 26.5 reference from the 30-40's.

I think you have your answer. At least the seller didn't try the old blurry picture trick...

I’ve reported it. In the hands of Ebay. I’d hate to see someone bidding this up and being let down when they get it in their hands.

Well to his credit hes actually put a pic up now of the other side of the case back on the listing now. Unfortunately its not what i’d imagine someone wanting one of these watches would be hoping for....
