Yes the case and caseback are fake. the observatory should have brick dome. no gold marker in the lug. The dial and movement might be original. See the missing 3 o'clock marker? I suspect the original case and caseback has been melted in the past when price of vintage connies were low. When the price gets high, some people become creative and create this franken-fake.
