Missed out on this when it was first sold on ebay, didn't hesitate when it became available again! 38mm Ref 6552 case housing a weathered but still lovely orangey salmon dial. The blued hands have such a lovely deep hue and their profile seems to be distinctive to Fab suisse variants. 768xxxx movement serial dates it to 1950/1951, typical of the ranges of serials for these early French made cases. Movement also had the characteristic better finishing for the 1st run of 30CH. Pictured here with a similar example in the new Goldberger Legendary Longines book.
