@tdn-dk, that Seamaster! I've never seen one in such amazing condition. What a beauty. Only the one for me currently but I'll add my little goldie in here(pic will be recognised from my avatar, but hey it isn't often one of my pics comes out well)..
I dont know why I havent shared these in this thread, but here they are. One complete Connie and an IWC Electronic with box and papers
I've found myself drawn to these lately, was thinking i'd do the research over a holiday to get my head into them, but then saw that TV dial and think i'm smitten, what model is that?
Happy to join the F300 club! Surprised by how much I like this one. Wears nicely and love how smooth the seconds hand moves.
Thank you! The dial configuration is very interesting to me. I've tried looking at Google images but have not found others with similar dial/hands
Here's a great model reference and numbers http://electric-watches.co.uk/makers/omega/omega-f300-tuning-fork/omega-f300-case-numbers-and-dates/
Very nice info, thank you! This one is a reference 198.001 with a 32mil serial which would put it at 1970. Even on that site, I can't find one with this exact dial, case, and hand combo. I will keep hunting for info!
I Like your watch, but I don't think that it has been delivered with this case, dial, hands combo. I think the dial maybe taken from a ref. 198.003. Here is one with a black dial like yours (not a chronometer). https://omegaforums.net/threads/sold-fs-omega-constellation-f300.48913/ I Have one with a sliver dial in my own collection.
I bought this because it had the 1171 bracelet (original v1 w/screws). I thought the bracelet would be useful for my -69/SW speedy. I'm really liking the Hummer. Works great on a leather strap.
