i have a chance to buy an F300 Chronometer for a great price, next to nothing really. But it doesn't run. Is it hard to find someone to work on these, and are the parts hard to come buy? I doubt my watchmaker would work on these. Any information would be helpful. Crappy picture by someone else.
I had one, and bought a new movement from this guy http://www.ebay.es/itm/TUNING-FORK-...694606?hash=item1c5e827e4e:g:9McAAOxygPtSwFEIPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Mind you, mine was day-date, and it costed me half the price he asks for date only movements. The movements he sells are not Omegas, but ESA ones, which have a different finish.
I think you should repair the Omega movement. Don't put in a NOS mosaba movement? Use it as a donar maybe? But the movenet need to be repaired by someone that nows how this work. As @Spacefruit says. Send it to Electric watches.
