    Looking at a couple f300's to buy.One has Constellation on dial the other is plain dial,is there any difference ? they both...I assume...use the same movement or do they?

    Yes, the movements are the same regardless of model, Constellation, Seamaster etc.

    Omega used two movements in the f300, caliber 1250, date only and caliber 1260, day and date.

    There was also an F720 iirc which was a higher frequency varient of the F300, Cal 1220 for date Cal 1230 for Day-Date

    Great watch, I love my Connie version, but it requires a good technician/parts sourcer to keep it working. The plastic date wheels are a real problem.
