There is an outfit in Israel that can restore this dial:

Gav Dials. Doesn't look easy, and I'm sure it's quite expensive.

He's bloody good at what he does, have seen a JLC ship dial he did for a friend and it was beautiful

Someone local to me offered me this, I know it's not the actual XVI but it has the same lugs and I kinda like it.



I'm just trying to determine whether the dial is original is not, the "S" on the Seamaster writing seems to be a later one, and there's a "T" after the "SWISS MADE" but there seems to be no lume on the dial (unless it's that black thing in the middle of the marker), and there's no lume on the hands as well. Is the dial repainted, or it's just the wrong hand set?
