Why are you quoting my post? I'm not defending Omega's decision to send the watches to MIR or their reasons for doing so. I was simply elaborating on what appeared, at least to me, to be an incorrect or less than informed answer to @Lonestar's question. If it was said in jest then my apologies.

It's becoming almost impossible to have a fair and decent conversation around here. I think it's time for me to take my ball and go home for a bit.
