··Nowhere near as grumpy as he used to be...Looks like a very nice example you have there. I believe most have been said. Regarding the Army text I believe that it adds value but not a clue on how much.

I have, and 'US Marine Corps' too. I've not seen any mention of PX, BX, NEX or MCX, just the service branch.
Perhaps since, ignoring NASA, there were never any US issued Speedmasters (were there any GI Omegas at all?), they don’t differentiate like they do with the UK ones where delivered to Navy or Army means something very different from NAAFI.
I still do think it adds additional interest 😉
Well none of the other ones that show delivery for sale at a PX for either MOD (NAAFI) or US military has ever had a price bump due to that. So to answer your statement that you don’t know how much it affects the price.... it’s 0%
@Bille they are tax free stores on military bases for military personnel.
that´s a very nice catch, huge congrats and wear in good health 👍
What does PX, BX, NEX or MCX stands for? According to the sales text ind the auction catalogue the watch was bought in a US PX Army store en Frankfurt Germany. I have no clue what that means
...But do you know if it makes any difference in the price valuation that the watch has been delivered to the US Navy?

I believe PX stands for Post Exchange, BX stands for Base Exchange, NEX stands for Navy Exchange and MCX stands for Marine Corps Exchange.
Also, a hearty congratulations are in order regarding that spiffy watch! 👍
To add a bit - the PX is the general store on an army base. Usually prices are a bit better than in the local shops. And you can buy peanut butter and other essential foods that foreigners for some reason refuse to produce 😁
