    Hi all,

Would appreciate expert eagle eyes on this rose gold Omega I’m considering in a trade. Authenticity, condition, originality of the dial, and app. value? Any and all opinions greatly appreciated!

It’s definitely not unpolished, which I guess is more expected with a dress watch. Not sure on the crown. Period correct but maybe replacement for this piece? And the big one: I’m leaning towards the dial being correct.

The first and third pic look to be pink gold but the second pic looks like yellow gold. Add to that, three separate backgrounds and my curiosity is piqued.

Being discussed, but value would be around $1900.

Good call on the backgrounds. I wondered about the gold color, but first thought was lighting.

This could be lighting, because the top of the lug looks more yellow than the side of the lug as well. However, it would definitely be a good idea to get more photos so that you can be confident everything is ok. In my experience, the apparent color of gold depends a lot on ambient lighting. I would also want higher resolution photos of the dial. In focus.

Do you know the case size? Photo of the inside of the case-back?

Thanks. Yeah, I would definitely require more pics. The case size is listed as 36mm... another concern, honestly.

I think 36mm is a good size for a dress watch, and not bad for an Omega. There are only a few "jumbo" references that are larger.

I'm of the opinion that the color difference in picture 3 is just lighting; you can see in picture 1 that the bezel and lugs are a similar rose color, and in picture 3 the upper surface of the left-side lug, similarly lit to the bezel, takes on a similar yellow color.

Thanks everyone! There are enough reasons for me to proceed with caution. As always!

Do you have a shot of the inside of the case? It's important to confirm that it is an Omega case.

If you’re concerned about possession you can ask the seller to send you a photo of the watch next to something that shows today’s date, such as a newspaper.

Yeah, plus a few more pics.
It’s mainly the dial authenticity and overall value I’m still considering...
