i recently purchased this watch off a italian buyer on ebay. i had originally seen this dial a few years back and fell in love with the art deco font. i paid just over $5K

i want to know if its legit. the serial appears modified? dial looks original. hands appear replacements. case shows 18k.
references from Sala Book:
note the 12551 dial, has no 12555 reference

Looks good. The reference does not apply to the dial, but to the case. UG played mix-and-match dials all the time.
