Oyster for me as well. Never been a fan of the jubilee bracelet. On a dress watch, I'd prefer a nice leather strap.

yes it's a matter of personal taste for sure. However if one wants to be a true purist let's not forget decades ago ADs would give customers the choice of bands at the point of sale and many submariners and explorers were sold on jubilees. I have a neighbor who has a 5512 he bought new with an oval link jubilee. He was smart in his choice back then and even smarter since, as he has always refused to sell me the watch. 😁

The often maligned oval link is the most comfortable jubilee Rolex ever produced.
