I’ll say the fact it’s a modern watch makes it even more appealing because it can be used without fear of too much damage.

As Risto said : newly released. Available only for a 72h window on an order basis (thereafter no more made) and costing about 400euro. 36mm (12mm thick) so should look fabulous on your wrist, if you can stomache a mecaquartz movement…
Well that’s it, the deed is done- I was lucky I had a credit on a birthday present.😎
But it will take a while as the first batch is already sold out, the second batch will only ship out in the spring. I’m very excited though - if the pictures are faithful to the color I really like it.
Many thanks for enabling. 😀

This one has just arrived and even with its plastic film it’s quite beautiful. Very solid, with a beautiful strap, great dial and detailing.
It scratches that exotic Nina itch and is exactly what I hoped some day someone would make.

Oh crap, this was just sold... I missed it 🙁

Super nice! Any idea what it went for?

The plastic 😲 Hopefully it has degraded already so that all is left is a beautiful watch 🥰

On-Wrist-distant.jpg

it’s a Sicura. I loved it for its looks, bull head, size…except the fact that the case was plated steel. It’s gone to eBay heaven.

So, Nivada is hooked on the racing dial concept and they have released another watch. Looking good! Doesn't beat my vintage one though 😀

https://www.fratellowatches.com/introducing-the-fratello-x-nivada-grenchen-racing-chronograph

These just dropped on Fratello’s shop: 5 dial options and only 200 available. $2,102.00

Meanwhile, I’m still wearing this 😀

What about Racing-Hands-Chronographs? Some Design guys at Enicar back in the 60s thought, its cool to have skeleton hands to better see the subs. When you think about it, it makes kind of sense, since besides the chrono second hand, the toti gives you the most important information.

Indeed, in the wider aspect, this Sherpa Graph is a great racing chronograph.
But, I started this topic to find out the exotic versions - chronographs with red accents and with a dark dial. As I have learned there are not many out there that use Speedmaster Racing / Seamaster Exotic (145.006) type of dial design (also with racing flag pattern). That probably reflects the market back in the late 1960s and early 1970s. And, of course, these designs were released in very small batches.
