Exactus Aquamax Skindiver - questions and knowledge about it

I was wondering if someone is able tell me anything about this watch.

I found it at a fleamarket for a real bargain (15€) and picked it up, because it interested and intrigued me with the freaking small size of 29mm.

Can anyone tell me more about this company and this kind of really small diver. It is working and functioning really well. But I just can’t really find anything about it.

And I am wondering if it’s worth anything more than I paid for it.

The bezel is turning and it seems to be in an overall pretty good shape. There is some light damage on the dial but otherwise it looks pretty decent so I was just wondering about what a picked up and if it’s worth to „dive“ into the matter and find out more about it. Even the strap is in an awesome shape and not to old. I didn’t talk to the seller and just picked it up - what can go wrong for 15€….

"Exactus, the brand, was owned by Montres Exactus SA, a swiss watch company based in Neuchâtel. It was founded in the first half of the 20th century and was active during the golden period of Swiss watchmaking. They have disappeared without trace, just like hundreds of other Swiss Watchmakers, who were unprepared for the Quartz generation. It seems likely that they were a “builder of watches” rather than a watch manufacturer; taking cases, movements, etc. and adding their own face designs."

Looks like you've got a uni-sex/ladies size watch, full size would be around 35/6-mm.

Huge numbers of this type of watch were offered in the 1960s.

ok thank you where did u find that extract for the company? That’s at least something more then I did.

But anyways since there must have been plenty it’s probably also not really worth anything. Especially in such a small size nowadays it’s even to small for my Partner. She rather prefers 34-38mm like me. That’s a pity but was expected.

I Still like the format although I am not going to wear it and she won’t neither. Then I probably just keep it and who knows may be in the future I will have a child that will wear it. Cuz it also likes mechanical watches…

I bet the watch displayed in the ad would have been a nicers/better flea market find. Looks like a classic 60s Swiss diver.

FWIW I like it and would have no 2nd thoughts if I had found that one.

So at least, I would say they've been assembling/contracting nice quality watches 😀 at that time

Don’t get me wrong the over quality of the watch is really good. And I like that I picked it up at the fleamarket but sadly it won’t be worn with the size. If it just would be a little bigger I would definitely wear it.

And thanks to the ad and the link I found out a bit more about it. Those links and the shown watches are really interesting and so I will keep and be happy about the fact that I picked it up for a bargain.
