I was offered this one privately today. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121752266521?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&rmvSB=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network It was originally posted on another forum a few months ago, right when it 'sold', and now he says it's available again. I know very little about SC's, but he didn't post a pic of the inner caseback, which I think should have the 'Super Compressor' engraving. Condition of the dial and hands is only fair, and it appears the case has had moderate polishing. I can't identify the movement... Other's thoughts?
OOPS, sorry, here's the eBay listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121752266521?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&rmvSB=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network (and added above to OP)
Those 70's watches had some funky assed dial colors. If it's a redial it's a pretty damn good one. I can't say for sure either way but I'd lean towards original.
It looks legit to me. Anyway, that crappy pics make the inspection hard. On the other hand, it has a nice look. And a green dial is not so common.
Look legitimate, but the seller could have made a couple hundred more had he pointed out that it is a rare "Kermit" edition example.
