Ever hear of an Omega Seamaster 601 with a B on the stem instead of an Omega?

I'm trying to find out details about a Vintage Seamaster 601 I recently picked up. It's getting repaired right now so it will be a week or two before I can provide you with pictures.

It has a black/dark grey face with like a diamond texture that you can see when light hits it and on the stem there's a B instead of a Omega logo. So far my internet searches have been less than fruitful.

I realize my description has been rather vague but I thought someone here might happen to know about it. I'll post pictures of it as soon as I can.

    Thanks

Sounds like a second hand for a Breitling.

Yes, I meant crown. That may be it. I should have it back in a couple weeks and can compare then.

Bulova and Benrus had stylized Bs as well.

Not that uncommon for a watchmaker to use whatever they had on hand that would fit back in the day.

For all we know, it could be Barney's Watch Company - there's no picture provided by the OP. :cautious:

Hey Beachhead….. did you buy the watch from a big purple dinosaur by any chance?
