    Actually have to say that I seem to spend my time buying things my wife will; hate, dislike, see as pointless, laughable, gets confused by, doesn't understand....and so on! But I continue to do so as she will always forgive me :)

    My wife just HATE my audio gear. Especially the speakers that she insist in cover it with some plant in a pot or a piece of some kind of cloth. She do love how her LPs sound with my audio gear :rolleyes:.

    I have a pair of DQ-10 all original with black speaker cloth in nice shape ....came home one night to this

    Acoustically they are fine ..... I also talked with my friend at Ohm ... as long as it only one layer of burlap it’s fine ....

    It does look a bit 'Thing' like but it's a Gurgle (really) X12. Brazilian, from the late 70's. This was one of a bunch bought by the Bajan Armed Forces. So, service issue, must add to the value ;-) VW Beetle running gear with a 'patented' glass fibre/steel bonded chassis and body.
