In a nutshell, potentially ‘yes’, if your not careful. Worst would be If you aren’t careful with an open dial, and accidentally inhale or ingest the radium or the radon gas byproduct..

 

Not enough digits on my counter to display these in CPM! .. thus CPM (counts per ‘minute’)

@pitpro I actually would have expected that Kontiki to read higher than that given all the radium area on that dial.

Is it possible some of the original radium was removed/replaced?
