As far as I can tell, this is a rare one. I certainly have not come across another one.
That being said, although I appreciate vintage Eterna for their styling and their history, I certainly don't qualify as an expert and appreciate input from any experts out there who are more familiar with this reference.

Eterna Matic, automatic chronograph Reference: 684. 2169. 41
Diameter: 38 mm excluding crown
Beautiful white dial with a Day/Date calendar at 3 o'clock with quick reset, black hands, and a tachymeter scale on the bezel with blue numerals ( the blue is a nice touch on an already interesting Dial )
Automatic 17-jewel movement
Calibre Lemania 5100, Swiss made
Came on Brown Leather strap with Eterna Buckle.
I think it looks great on this stainless steel bracelet that I switched over from a vintage Tissot
Both the strap and bracelet will be included in the sale, and that's all of it. No box, no papers.
An accurate time-keeper, but I have no knowledge of service history.

Price: $1049, includes Conus shipping. Will ship to other locations if the buyer is willing to pay the additional costs.

Thanks OF for the space.

Pictures.....

The white area near the bottom of each picture is from the light source - you can see that it moves a bit from picture to picture.

Included this Black & White just because it looks so good!

The Leather Strap and Buckle it came on when I purchased it. strap has lots of life left

Here's a picture of the Dial without the weird white stripe I mentioned above

Just seems kind of boring to keep writing "bump", "bump", "bump"
So I thought I would be a bit more creative ( and possibly dramatic )

To me, the price is right for this watch. It's just a matter of finding the right buyer now, and that may take a bit of time. I've been in your shoes before when it comes to unusual Lemania 5100 chronographs.

FWIW, I think it is a beauty. Sadly, I’m down to my three watch limit.

It is a beauty- these are cool watches and Longines, Hamilton, Eterna, Zodiac, Tag and Tudor (yes, the Tiger chronos were under $2k back then) were knocking these budget friendly chronos out of the park in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
If you want to start a 90’s chrono collection- this would be a good one to get as they don’t come up often.
