Just arrived yesterday. The plexi full of scratches, on a original eterna (80s) bracelet, but oh boy, look at it now.

Dated to 1968. The triangle at 12 is relumed/added later so non original.

Otherwise, the only aspect I question is the bezel inlay. I see numerous examples with the same inlay, but I now had two people questioning the inlay as a later example. Any thoughts?

Just landed home to celebrate the new year

Eterna Super Kontiki ref. 130PTX/1 - all original from the first owner

 

That's lovely; I was vaguely aware of the history of Super Kontiki, which it seems Eterna continues to celebrate in its modern re-releases. But these are something special. Might have to make one my first venture into vintage.

 

I'm not sure how I missed this thread, but Eternas do tend to fly under the radar. Here's mine, one of my very favorite divers. The box was a nice bonus.

I've seen this watch IRL when there were loads of other fancy (and expensive!) divers on the table, but it was by far the coolest one.

 

Love the pictures. A friend is looking to restore an inheritance Super Kontiki and is looking for a bezel insert and crown (non-screw). Any idea where he can get them?

Hi, is the crown signed with the Eterna logo?
The ref 130PTX/1 (to be checked on the inner side of the caseback) doesn't have a screw-down crown.
