From my personal collection, another reluctant sacrifice to cover recent purchases. This lovely, all-steel Kontiki really demonstrates why Eterna is becoming so popular among discerning collectors. At 34mm, the watch is elegant enough to be dressy, but beefy enough to be sporty, depending on the strap. The pearlescent dial is complemented by stick batons and furniture with onyx inserts. Case is sharp and unpolished. Gold kontiki medallion on caseback is clearly defined, with the five dots and water texture sharp. Very minor ageing to the dial, as visible from the pictures. Original lume dots present. The dial matches reference dials, including the absence of minute hash marks. Eterna symbol on dial has all five dots, matching caseback and crown.

All original, including crown, signed in four places--dial, crown, interior caseback, and movement (technically five, if you count the medallion). Serial number sharp and readable.

1422 automatic movement is clean and recently serviced, running strong and keeping good time.

This is a really terrific example of a Kontiki. It was the pride of my Eterna collection, only recently eclipsed by the acquisition of a grail (a first execution Kontiki). As the Bard tells us, we all have our entrances and our exits.

Measurements:
34mm diameter w/o crown
42mm length lug-to-lug
18mm lugs

Comes on a new, grey Di-Modell strap. Might have some others available if you ask nicely.

$675 or equivalent in GBP or Euros.

I travel frequently between the UK, EU, and US, so can likely arrange domestic shipping from all three locales (given a bit of patience). Postage to be covered by the lucky new owner.

I have sold several watches on OF, to the full satisfaction of buyers. Endorsements available here:

As an owner of this very model and a lover of that book, I would argue that it’s a must own. Lovely condition.
