Eterna Matic 1000 Identification Help

I just bought an Eterna Matic 1000 for my son. It has a 14K gold filled one piece case with a rounded back. There is no serial number on the back of the case. I assume that it’s a late 60’s? Also most pictures I’ve seen of this model have a screwed on stainless steel back. Any help the group can provide in identifying the watch would be appreciated. Thanks! (Sorry for the poor photo quality, it is difficult to get a good shot of the front due to glare off the silver dial.)

Yours appears to be an American market watch so there may be no exact Swiss counterpart.

Yes?

I should have expanded a bit. The new member asked you a question but didn’t tag you correctly. Dan has since answered.

I'd agree.

Here is a serial number chart.
