Anyone here ever try to buy a vintage part from Eterna watch co. In Switzerland? The headquarters? I wonder if they sell some, just as Heuer does. Any info appreciated!

Most manufacturers will not sell parts to individual customers, and I'm surprised that Heuer does.

    What kind of part?

They have some old parts still in stock. You have to email them to ask.

Amazing! Good luck pulling that off with other manufacturers. Though I did one get a crown for a ZRC diver from the nouveau-owners; very kind of them.

@pweingarten can I ask when you got the dial ? I understood that to access their parts bin you needed to get a full service, and of course that’s a) expensive, and b) potentially risky for vintage.

Which part? I usually buy broken movements on Ebay and use the part I need. I have a bunch of 1950s parts myself.

Thanks. Can I ask how expensive ? And I just wondered if you’re the guy that bought my Monaco dial a couple of years ago ?

Eternamatic no date, i believe late 1950s. 2 of them. I can measure and get movement number if that is what you are looking for. 15549380755742088045410.jpg

Yes, they still make modern watches...Don't know if they keep older parts.

I do not have any KonTikis, sorry. Your dial looks pretty good to me the way it is. Looks like it spent some time outdoors on the ocean.

Thanks. I like it too, but it has been refinished at some point...so would be nice to find original.
