·Found in the dollar bin of a local estate sale. Gen Z helper said she didn't think it worked,...must need a battery.....😵💫
Gave it wind and started right up. 'Princeton', swiss movt, with unbreakable mainspring(hasn't in 57 yrs anyway). All of 1 jewel glory. I know nothing of the brand but I'm guessing dime store fashion. I found a few Princeton on the net with 21 jewel swiss so a few were good ones.
But of course the cool part is the tribute to the Gemini spacewalk by Ed White(Doesn't it look like him?)🙄
60s era watch with a Gemini looking capsule and spacewalk guy...I added up 2+2 and got 4.
Puts it in late 1965 or 1966 for this model I would guess.
Last pic is the atrocious wide leather band it came on. So old it says Made in USA.😲
