    Does anyone know what caliber this is and how hard it would be to find a case?

    Looks like it says cal. 528.

    Quite cool actually. Going by the gold hands and crown I assume they opted to melt down the gold case.

    And I don't think it's a redial.

    It is an opal dial. Omega, Longines and several other brands used to make jewel watches with these:

    You can easily imagine what has happened to the case of that watch.

    I've got a lapis dial from a Piaget somewhere around here. The watch was melted for gold value (it was a very dated style) but I bought the 9P for a spare parts movement for my 1961 Piaget.
