After missing out on that Baume and Mercier and lusting after (but not being able to justify at the moment) the 320 in the sales forum, I'm looking for a good entry level vintage gold chrono, 2 registers. Looking on the bay, there are a lot of generic brands out there, using landeron or Venus movements. So if anybody has something, pls let me know. If this works out, it will probably be a gateway drug towards a cal 320 down the track!
    Thanks

You might have better luck finding a Cal 860 Omega

Thanks. Nothing with an 860 that I like at the moment. I've been looking at things like this:

I think you should wait and save up for a 320 if that's what you really want instead of going for something lesser. Just my 2cts.;)

I'm thinking about 'trying something out' in the sub/around $1000 market. If I like it, I'll then save/splurge on the 320. I'd prefer not to spend cal320 money and then find that actually, maybe, it isn't the sort of thing I'm after.
