·Up for sale is a lovely Enicar Valjoux 72 Chronograph nicknamed the 'Gerhard Mitter' or 'Mitter' for short. These were worn by the Formula driver Gerhard Mitter during races. Movement is actually the upgraded and higher beat Valjoux 72 movement being the 726.
Good condition for age. Movement is running at +2 seconds per day and chronograph functioning perfectly and resetting crisply. Case shows signs of wear commensurate with age but is in overall lovely wearable vintage condition.
I recently replaced the hour and minute hands with a NOS set but can include the old hands if required.
Case is 37mm but wears more like a 39mm due to the small space between dial edge and case edge. Lug width is 20mm.
Strap not included, head only sale.
Looking forGBP2,500 GBP2,300 including shipping. Payment via Paypal F&F or Bank Transfer. Will be sent insured, tracked and signed for.
