·Selling a few watches that I don't wear frequently, this is next up. Up for sale is my Jean Perret “Sherpagraph.” I have tried to give an honest description of any condition issues which are noted below and in pictures. Pictures are honest and unmodified, please let me know if you would like to see more of a certain area. This watch was previously owned by an Enicar collector, I purchased it from a dealer last year who was selling it for the collector. I can provide a link to the FS ad for interested buyers, the dealer’s pictures are better than mine.
Case - midcase is nice and share, shows wear, dings and marks from use.. Case back has wear and scratches as pictured. 40mm diameter sans crown, 14mm thickness, 20mm lug width.
Dial – The cream dial is really nice, lume on dial and hands has aged with nice patina, both dial and hands glow evenly for a short time and then fade quickly similar to tritium Speedmaster lume.
Hands – Nice overall condition, the lollipop sweep second hand has a little darker patina in the lume around the outside of the circle.
Movement – Movement is really clean. The dealer selling it to me listed it was a Valjoux 726, but when I look at the movement with a loupe I can only see a “V72.” I know the 726 was an improved version of the 72, but am not certain how to tell which it is. It was serviced for the prior owner by Sean Yates at abouttimerepair in the UK in late 2020/early 2021. The warranty has lapsed.
Bracelet - No Strap or bracelet included, sold head only
Priced at $3,500 USD shipped in the US via FedEx ParcelPro. Payment via wire or Zelle. Paypal and International shipping can be discussed.
I have references in the seller feedback section of this forum I can share.
Thank you OF for the space!
