I really love blue dialed watches, and it seems like many of you feel the same. I have since decided that I am jumping ship from only buying Omega watches, so I wanted to see if members here would be willing to post their blue dial watches so that we can see many of the other blue options that are available. I have been so focused on Omega that I have not really ventured out to see what else is available.

I have a blue dial watch incoming (Swatch Group Brand) and will share it on this thread once it arrives.

Until then, these are a few of my blue dial watches.

There are also about 3-4 blue dials that I have since sold.

    SOLD:

IWC makes 3 or 4 Cousteau models of their Aquatimer that are blue, and are really quite nice!

My Dad's Seiko from the mid-70s. I had longed for this guy for decades, until he gave it to me a couple of years ago.

I guess I've always liked blue dialed watches and I think I've got some priceless gems! (Doesn't everyone think their crap is priceless?). Off the top of my head I've at least 4 dozen blue dialed watches.

Here's one I purchased 2 weeks ago. All original, including strap and tang, crystal, box, original receipt etc., etc. Only negative is it appears to have never been serviced but frankly, I prefer this.

I can't keep up with or afford the Rolex and Omega game anymore. I'll keep what I've accumulated over the years but I'll let the "greater fool theory" run out its natural course.

If this watch (if it's and but's blah blah blah) were an Omega or Rolex I would have had to pay $700 to $2500 for the equivalent model.

I Paid 122, all-in. I think that was a good deal, what do you think?

Hope springs eternal and I'm hoping that one day as vintage watch collecting becomes less and less of a tiny subculture, collectors will realize that there's little if any difference between a Rolex Chronometer and a Bucherer Chrononmeter. The only difference being Bucherer is a more difficult name to pronounce for English speakers :)

out of the blue, my father gave this to me yesterday... love blue dials. still runs; needs servicing and a new bracelet/strap.
    (Seiko 5 6119-8410 possibly late 60s or early 70s)

edit: actually still trying to find out more info about this watch, etc. if you know anything, please share!

My blue. Hint of grey/black, depending on light and angle.

That Nautilus is just swoonsomely lovely!

For me, my two blue dials:

Royal Oak 14790 (and a tip of the hat to Genta, the genius who designed the RO and the Nautilus)

    And a vintage seiko 6139B
    [IMG]

Blue dials go well with a dash of yellow somewhere in the picture :D

One of the really swoonsome blue dials I've seen is the FP Journe Chronometer Bleu... truly awesome but sadly way beyond my budget!
