I started collecting pocket watches when I first got into this hobby don't buy many today unless there military related. Still got a few in the collection. Here is one that had it original box a 18 size Elgin Vertas 21 jewel lever set made around 1901 with a Montgomery dial. The highly decorated movements are what got me into collecting them in the beginning it was like art the workmanship that went into them maybe that's why I keep more than a few around even though my collecting habbit has changed.
Nice. I have a B W Raymond, same movement, but 19-jewels. One of my favourite 18-size, American made movements.
