The level of creativity of certain dealers when describing their watches never ceases to amaze me. Last one is this Rolex with Electric Cactus Dial:

Really? Electric Cactus?

So instead of saying that the dial has lost all the tritium plots and shows heavy patina the description says: "Excellent no lume silver dial that has aged to aged tone with even and extensive patina"

Saw that on their site. Agree it might be a step too far in description but I say call it what you want - that dial is stunning. And I loves me a 1530!

I could not live with that dial, patina....or just plain ugly. Said it before, one if the best things about this hobby is that watches come in all shapes, sizes and colours.....something for everyone.

It could be worse. It could be a Tropical Electric Cactus!

I think they enjoy being creative with their labels. I saw one called “London fog”—black dial with mold or something on it.
