It's El Primero Day. 47 years ago in 1969, on january 10 the first automatic chronograph was announced by Zenith.

Who was first - that can, will and should be debated. Only one had an integrated auto chronograph movement that showed the seconds ticking...

I own and love examples of each - the Seiko, the cal. 11 and the El Primero. If I had to choose only one - my choice would be the El Primero.
