I own an Omega Speedmaster Triple Date, which is characterized as an "entry level" Omega. The price is much lower than many other Omega's. It has the Omega 1151 (ETA 7753) movement. What differentiate this watch from the higher end more expensive Omegas? Is it build quality? Accuracy? Parts/movement? Longevity? Thanks
Generally speaking Omega is known for making quality timepieces whether entry level or not. So yes, the movement, the metal ( gold vs SS), if watch is a limited edition release, and demand... these are probably the main differences between high end and entry level Omega watches. I've attached a link to a buying guide for Omega watches... prices range from low thousands to 100 thousands. If you read it, I think you will get a better grasp on the differences. https://www.gearpatrol.com/watches/a569974/complete-buyers-guide-to-omega-watches/
